Our Approach
At Saratoga Spine our goal is always to provide our patients with the highest level of care in a personal and compassionate way. We invite you to take an active role in your care, including seeking answers to all the questions you might have. We will take the time to provide answers to your questions and point you to further resources.
We also believe our patients must take responsibility for their care, in order to have the best results possible. After hearing our expert and considered recommendations, you will decide which treatment is best for you. Your family and close friends are also an important part of the collaborative process. We encourage you to include them in any informational sessions we provide concerning your condition. If you choose to have surgery, we will make every effort to keep family members informed of your progress and to involve them in your recovery process.
Deciding which treatment option is best for you involves weighing the risks and benefits associated with each option. If you eventually choose to have surgery, your physical condition and mental attitude will determine your body’s ability to heal. You must approach your surgery with confidence, a positive mental attitude and a thorough understanding of the anticipated outcome. You should have realistic goals — and be willing to work steadily to achieve those goals. We’ll be there to help you every step along the way.
